"If an error is possible, someone will make it. Errors should be easy to detect, they should have minimal consequences, and, if possible, their effects should be reversible." -Donald Norman, The Design of Everyday Things

Good designers ask themselves three questions when designing a product:

  1. Is it functional (Does it work)?
  2. Is it usable (Is it easy and pleasant to use)?
  3. Is it attractive (Does is make people want to use it)?

The best-designed objects help people understand how to use them. They give visual clues that make them easy to interpret and understand. For example, door handles can help or hinder someone from opening them properly.

Okay, let's get to work!
